Inala Conservation Reserve
An Aboriginal name meaning “Place of Peace”, Inala is appropriately named. Behind the unassuming entry is a 1,500-acre private nature conservation reserve with abundant bird and wildlife. You can choose to stroll through the Inala Jurassic Gardens, covering about five acres, followed by a visit to the Inala Nature Museum.

Alternatively, you can stay on the property in rustic, well-appointed colleges, where you can immerse yourself totally in the property’s ambience. There are two cottages available on the property and one cottage about 15 minutes from the Inala.

Expert guides can introduce you to Bruny’s fabulous wildlife and birdlife for those looking to connect with nature. For bird-watching enthusiasts, the Inala property has bird hides from which you can see some of Tasmania’s endangered species, including the Forty Spotted Pardolaote, Wedge Tail Eagles and more.

I can recommend a visit to Inala and look forward to my next visit.
